Melinda Price

Melinda Price

Melinda Price is a trailblazing Australian motorsport driver known for her significant contributions to racing. She first rose to prominence in the 1990s, competing in events such as the Bathurst 1000 and the Australian Super Touring Championship. Melinda was one of the few women competing at such a high level in Australian motorsport at the time, paving the way for future female racers. After stepping away from the sport for over a decade, she made a remarkable return in 2017, debuting in the CAMS Australian GT Trophy Series at Sandown Raceway. Driving the #94 MARC Car Mazda 3 V8, she became the first woman to compete in the Australian GT Championship, breaking new ground once again.

Today, Melinda Price continues to inspire as both a racer and a role model, advocating for women in motorsport and showing that it’s never too late to chase your passion. Melinda will be one of our special guests at the Gala dinner. Aaron Noonan will spend time with her talking about her racing career. Melinda will also be on hand to sign your model and grab a photo opportunity.

Craig Membrey

As a young boy Craig Membrey was always fascinated with trucks and helping out at his father’s Transport Yard. After leaving school at 14 and trying a few jobs he was to return and work with his dad learning the ropes. When Craig started to run the family business only 5 trucks were in the fleet. He built the business up offering tray trucks, crane trucks, prime movers, flat tops, step decks, extendable trailers, and specialised trailers. Tragically Craig lost his eldest son Rowan at age 17 and now has become a Beyond Blue ambassador to aid in the awareness of depression and saving lives. All the Membrey transport machinery is always impeccably presented and Drake have recreated many items of the fleet.
