No physical Expo this year but still plenty of models to help celebrate our 10 year anniversary.
Holden Torana A9X 1978 Bathurst Forbes / Bartlett
For the 1978 Bathurst 1000, Bob Forbes teamed up with Kevin Bartlett in the number 10 Holden A9X Torana. They were able to position themselves in 12th place on the starting grid for the Great Race with a qualifying lap time of 2:27.3. Holden A9X Toranas took the top two places in Australia’s premier race for “production” saloons. Running strong until trouble struck the Forbes / Bartlett entry was a further 27 laps down from the winner, finishing the race with only 136 of the 163 laps completed and in 22nd place overall. This quality diecast model produced by Classic Carlectables will feature opening parts and exceptional detail. Limited to only 400.
Anton DePasquale Ford Falcon FG-X Paul Morris Motorsport
2017 Dunlop Super2 Philip Island winner. Anton DePasquale made his debut in the Dunlop Super2 series in 2016 under the mentorship of Paul Morris. His speed and race craft was evident very early. Backing up with Morris in 2017 Depasquale was to get his first win in his Tool Pro sponsored ford Falcon FG-X. The win was to come at Philip Island and Authentic Collectables will produce this limited edition milestone model exclusively for the Diecast model expo. Model will be diecast metal with opening parts. Only 300 will be produced.
Ford Mustang GT Supercar, Diecast model expo racing team
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Diecast model expo, we are excited to have this very special Ford Mustang GT Supercar produced. This model is designed by industry expert Tim Pattinson of TP Race Design, who is renowned for his modern and ultra sharp race car designs. TP Race Design works with many of the top Supercar teams (Triple 8, Kelly Grove Racing, Erebus to name a few) along with a range of GT, Porsche, S5000 teams and other categories around the globe. The livery incorporates all the sponsors of the expo and all the special guests that have graced the Expo’s over the years. The 1:18 model will be made by Biante with full opening parts. This model will be very limited and only 300 will be made.
